On Thursday the 8th August, Christian, Mitch, Callum, Jamie, Rob and Em will travel up to the Peak District to camp out ready for the big climb up Kinder Scout, the highest mountain in the Peak District Friday morning.

Emily's star is a local charity based in Milton Keynes that hold's a special place in my heart. Their goal is to raise awareness for Trisomy 18 also known as Edwards Syndrome, the UK's second most common syndrome.

In 2011 my brother, Peter was born at 34 weeks, weighing just 2pounds 2oz and passed away due to having Edwards syndrome. Emily’s star help family’s like mine feel supported, they provide neonatal boxes which have premature sized clothes for the babies as well as toiletries and goods for mum.

Emily’s star is an amazing charity that offers tremendous amounts of support to families at the time they need it most. 

As a team, we are doing this climb to raise money for Emily’s star and also in memory of Peter.
