Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. We rely on donations to fund our work but with one baby admitted to neonatal care every five minutes we don’t have the resources to reach every baby who needs us. Your donation can help Bliss ensure every baby gets the best care.

Story

Once upon a time there was a little baby called Jonah who was very impatient to see the world. So he put in an appearance 10 weeks ahead of schedule and in doing so, turned our world upside down and inside out.

After testing out nearly every piece of equipment in the neonatal unit, setting off the alarms and monitors more times than we care to remember, submitting bravely to countless blood tests, scans and tubes, and charming every nurse he saw with a simple blink of his tiny blue eyes, Jonah came home.

Three and a half years later, he continues to turn our world upside down but this time with the energy, exuberance and constant questions of a happy, healthy 3 year old and for the last 13 months with the help of his partner in crime Eli!

So we decided to run a marathon between us (half each!) to raise money for Bliss because we know just how important it is to have support on tap for families facing the terrifying reality of a premature baby in intensive care. They also do vital work lobbying for better care for babies and funding medical research into prematurity and treatments.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. So please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks,

Molly and Francis
