On Saturday I will be running 52.4miles along the Cotswold Way in the Race to the Tower, in support of ‘Play Appeal’. This is an appeal set up to raise funds to provide toys and other play items for waiting areas and clinics where children with complex needs are assessed (within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust). This will hopefully improve their experience, making it feel a much less clinical environment, during what is often a stressful time for them.
