Neel's Movember 2020

Neel Sharma is raising money for University of Birmingham

Movember 2020 · 3 November 2020

The University of Birmingham is committed to finding solutions to global challenges, including cancer, global infection and the development of our future leaders. As one of the broadest reaching charities in the UK, we are tackling issues that affect us all.

Story

As I am sure you are all aware Movember takes place during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues.

As a Clinician Engineer at the University of Birmingham I am raising funds to support medical students with an interest in biomedical engineering applications.

Professor Paula Mendes at the University of Birmingham with Prostate Cancer UK is focusing on the use of nanotechnology to more accurately diagnose the severity of prostate cancer.

Funds raised will help support medical students gain training on the utilisation of nanotechnology to enhance disease diagnostics.

My Movember journey begins now! If we hit our target great... if we go beyond even better! That would allow us to support many more students both within the UK and abroad. My Movember efforts will be shared along the way. We thankyou in advance for your support.
