Story
As a child growing up in Kenya, I frequently saw the snow-capped mountain called Kilimanjaro. I also saw poverty firsthand in the form of "street kids", children who have been abandoned to live on the streets of Africa and have never been given any chance to live a "normal" life. This September, I am going to climb to the summit of that same mountain in order to give street kids a real chance at a better life.
Please help me make a difference in the lives of these children by donating to my cause. By providing them with shelter, nutrition, medical care and most importantly, an education, the Amani Children's Home tries to end the cycle of poverty for these kids and provide them with the skills to work and lead a regular life (just like you and I).
My employer is sponsoring the cost of this trip and I will be paying for all the equipment, therefore 100% of your donation will go directly to Amani Children's Home (http://www.amanikids.org/). Even the smallest of donations will go a long way in making a difference, so please donate however much you are comfortable giving at this time.
"It's not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving." - Mother Theresa
Giving is the best way to express gratitude for all the blessings in your life. Please help me to make a difference by creating a blessing in the lives of others who need it.
Thank you sincerely,
