For many years this building has stood still in time, as beautiful as it is on the outside, it was far from the same on the inside. I have been working closely with the project to renovate the interior structure and layout to best suit the needs of modern day challenges and provide the community with a central hub for everyone’s well being. The project got underway in 2019, and much has changed for the better internally. There are 4 new floors, new toilets, kitchen, class room and prayer facilities, as well as a mortuary. Incorporated in the building is a brand new lift to allow access for disabled or wheelchair users. I’m passionate about the project which will see a host of services open to the whole community, meeting rooms for outside agencies a multi faith centre with a library within and in a time of much needed point of focus and guidance, this central hub would provide services to those you need the help, whether its just someone to listen, or to help and guide this community lead project will see the Town gain so much needed focus and empowerment.
The funds raised by me will be used towards the interior of the ground floor which is the dedicated Ladies area.This will include a prayer area, wuzhu facilities and the children's creche area.
