RIDERS - RBLR1000 2013 · 22 June 2013

The RBL are the UK's leading charity providing financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the British Armed Forces and their dependents.

Story

The Riders Branch of The Royal British Legion (RBLR) is organising a sponsored 24 hours, 1,000 mile motorcycle endurance ride.

On the 22/23 June 2013, I along with around 200 other Bikers will be doing my bit to help raise money for veterans and their families.

This will be the fourth year I have entered this, same challenge, ride 1,000 miles in 24hours. My aim is to do it in around 18 hours

Last year it managed to rain for most of the time hoping for better weather this year :)

The ride starts at Squires Cafe, Leeds. I will be riding the Southern anti clockwise route starting at 5:00 am (ish).

Squires- M62-Telford- Redruth-Southampton – Dover and finally back to Squires. Then just to round things off a 182 mile ride home.

 Route details here http://rblr1000.co.uk/index.php?page=the-routes

More detail on the RBLR page http://www.rblr1000.co.uk/

All the monies raised will go to the Poppy Appeal I would really like to raise £1,000 this year, so please dig deep and donate now, even a small amount will help.
