Myself, Chris and Sy are taking part in Europe’s Toughest Mudder in June and looking to raise money for Tyneside Mind. 

Almost everybody you speak to these days has been affected by mental health issues, either themselves directly or through someone they know/love. Tyneside Mind are part of the Mind charity group and work to help people of the North East who suffer from mental health problems in their day to day lives by providing support, information and an environment where they can achieve their goals. 

We’ve chosen this charity after our own experience with mental health when we lost our very close friend and brother, Steven, last year and would really appreciate anything anyone can donate to help us reach our target. 

Toughest Mudder is a 12 hour, through the night, obstacle course. While it’s going to be a lot of fun it’s also going to be both physically and mentally challenging - starting at 8pm Saturday 13th June and running through to 8am Sunday morning! We’ll be hoping to complete 30 miles of mud, water, obstacles, electric shocks, everything!! We have taken part in a Europe’s Toughest before but it was *only* 8 hours back then, they’ve upped their game this year and pushed it to 12, so being the idiots we are we’ve accepted the challenge! 😬
