As a farmer in Wales, I’m really keen to raise as much money as possible for a charity close to my heart – Just Earth – a UK based charity serving the poorest farmers in Kenya, lifting people out of poverty through ‘Farm Schools,’ delivered by a partnership with local churches. Tens of thousands of family members have been impacted in so many ways.

I have in person seen Farm Schools achieve extraordinary, long lasting and sustainable results with farming families and their communities. Harvest yields and income have been significantly increased, family food security and health improved, orphans cared for, to name just a few positive impacts – here is one example from a Just Earth farmer:

“I used to beg for food every day. My children had poor health… 

Now (after joining a Just Earth Farm School) I am happy with my family and have no more quarrels with my husband. I have learnt to plant so many crops which I can sell, and I can buy meat, fish, and sugar. I am so glad in my heart, my family has good health. God bless you!”

Just Earth promotes rejuvenate and environmentally friendly practices.
