Story
On the 26th March myself, Jack, Lara and some friends will be taking on the challenge of Sheffield Half Marathon for a very special cause that means a lot to us.
We are running for the Sunday Centre in Sheffield. It is a charity that provides food and a warm space to the vulnerable and homeless of Sheffield when other services are closed.
We volunteer there providing the guests with food, clothes, a hot drink and a kind word. Since volunteering both of us have made friends with other volunteers and guests that attend the centre. It is a friendly place that treats the guests with respect, giving them hope and making them feel that they matter.
In these hard times we are seeing larger numbers of people attending each week which means more meals and other services need to be provided. The centre relies on donations to keep providing these important services to the most vulnerable when all other services are closed.
I know times are hard but if you can help us meet our target and make a donation however small we would really appreciate it.
Your money will ensure a person does not go hungry or ignored at least for a Sunday
thankyou
