We are Ovarian Cancer Action. 🩵 As the UK's leading ovarian cancer research charity, we’re working to change that. By finding new and better ways to prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, we will ensure a future where no woman dies of ovarian cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My mother died from ovarian cancer in her early 60's and was misdiagnosed several times in the early stages. We learnt of the news pretty much the day after my daughter was born (long time ago now), she passed away less than two years later. She'd have made a fantastic grandmother for longer given the chance.

The charity group i'm raising funds for helps raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer, helping early diagnosis and therefore more effective treatment and chances of surviving.

I'll be pushing (ok maybe struggling!) up the hills during the ride, but know that helping to raise even a small amount of funds for this worthwhile charity will help me along.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. It's really appreciated, thank you.
