I am running the Hastings Half-Marathon on Sunday March 24th to help raise money for the Association of Carers. Established in 1987 by a group of carers and healthcare professionals who recognised the need for carers to be able to take a regular break from their caring role, the Association of Carers (AOC) works with over 150 volunteers to provide relief and assistance to around 200 carers in East Sussex. Those they support are unpaid carers of family members and friends who are in need of help because of a medical condition or a disability. The AOC's services are free. Please help its efforts by supporting this fundraising initiative.
