Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Let's Play supports disabled children and young people with additional needs in the Banbury area by enabling them to access play and leisure activities.  Let's Play train play workers to accompany young people to a wide range of out of school activities.

They have made a tremendous difference to my eldest son's life and with it our lives as we see his face light up. They've shown expertise and real care/passion to understand his needs, what makes him tick and how to manage him when tired & stressed.

With ever increasing funding pressure, last year the staff decided to do the wolf run to raise essential funds to maintain facilities for the children. It only seems right to join them this year and try to give a little back -  though it's to be seen how I'll get my "too large" a body round 10k of streams, lakes, ditches, hills, obstacles....

thanks for your support - every pound will make a real difference.

Neil

* in case you want to know more: The Wolf Run is Wild Running - a unique combination of three kinds of off-road running: mud runs, trail runs and obstacle runs - it’s a hardcore 10k run across raw natural terrain, including open ground, woodland, lakes & thick mud.
