Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When I found out that I had a place in the 2018 London marathon, I was in no doubt that I would run to raise money for MNDa.. My wife Leonie and my brother-in-law Peter lost their mother to motor neurone disease. Kathleen Le Faucheur developed the diesase in 1982 and died in October 1986 aged at just 58 years old. With stories that Leonie has told me about her mother's courage and bravery through the last 4 years of her life, I know that I also  lost a very special person that I never will get to know or meet.
We have seen a friend pass away from us and know someone  that at the present has it, and it is heartbreaking.

I would like to raise as much money as possible for the charity to help support current sufferer's of the disease AND also help into reseach of the condition. Maybe one day there will be a cure..
