Flora London Marathon 2006 · 23 April 2006 ·

Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I am running the London marathon on behalf of Aspire who support people with spinal injury. Spinal cord injury is unique. One minute you are devouring life, the next you are paralysed and in a wheelchai. There's no period of transition, no preventative medicine, no warning, no time to prepare - your life is turned upside down. Whether it be a sporting injury, a road accident or a fall, it is always devestating for the person concerned and for their family. So please dig deep and help Aspire with their wonderful work

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: ASPIRE will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support
