10th Anniversary Campaign
Campaign by One-Eighty (RCN 1147546)
For 10 years we have empowered young people and their families to improve their mental health and re-engage with education. Demand for our services has grown by 40% in the last two years alone - we are now needed more than ever to turn lives around.

Story

I want to help because One-Eighty empowers children, young people and their families to improve their mental health and re-engage with education, and in many ways, to begin to enjoy a more 'normal' life. For 10 years, they have been responding to the needs and demands of young people's mental health. In this time, greatly exacerbated by the pandemic, there has been a growing demand for their services, with a 40% increase in the past two years alone. With our generous support, they will now be able to respond to this increased need, providing even more one-to-one support for those young people with complex personal challenges (trauma, bereavement, mental health difficulties, and those with difficult family circumstances) which prevent them from engaging with education. More than that, they will be able to extend their preventative mental health offering, enabling young people with low-level wellbeing needs to receive relevant and timely support.  This intervention is vital in helping to prevent their mental health needs from escalating in the future.
