Hi, I’m Neil Baird — a lifelong Scout who’s been shaped by the movement since I was young, and now proud to work for Clyde Scouts, helping support the next generation of young people across our region.

This year I’m taking on the Kiltwalk to raise vital funds for Clyde Scouts. Every penny donated goes directly towards giving young people opportunities to grow, explore, and thrive — from adventure activities and outdoor learning, to leadership development, inclusion programmes, and support for volunteers who make Scouting happen week after week.

Scouting has played a huge part in my life, giving me confidence, resilience, and lifelong friendships. Now I’m walking to help ensure today’s young people get the same life‑changing experiences.
