Walk of hope
As some of you are aware, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour in January 2021. I had brain surgery in February and started radiotherapy and chemotherapy in March.
So far I have had 30 radiotherapy sessions and taken 228 chemotherapy pills (with 40 left to go). We are on the right path so far and long may that continue.
I am taking part in the Walk of Hope on September 25th to raise money and awareness for the brain tumour research charity.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

I am planning to walk half a marathon, travelling around Hyde park twice, then onto Regent’s Park and finishing on top of Primrose Hill.
Please feel free to join me for some or all of the walk, I do love my own company but it’s a long lonely walk otherwise.
Any and all help or support would be appreciated but even just reading this message does what is required by raising awareness.
