Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.

Story

On Thursday 23rd of October, Broadgate Mainland will be hosting the third 'Neil Mainland Karting Challenge' in memory of Neil who sadly lost his battle with cancer back in 2010.

The event has been a success the past two years, not only being great fun but also receiving some fantastic donations towards the Bobby Moore fund. The Bobby Moore Fund was set up in memory of the legendary footballer who sadly died from bowel cancer aged just 51. Neil died from cancer but spent many years karting with his son Angus and this event is a fitting tribute to Neil.

Last year Team Mainland led by Angus managed to win the event which for very special for those involved. Again the team will consist of Angus, Neils best friend Julian Perry and Dan Cooke, another of Neils friends.

So please donate for this very worthy cause and something very close to my heart!
