As some of you may know, I recently had heart bypass surgery; proving once and for all that even my heart needed a little extra plumbing work! Thanks to the incredible surgeons, nurses, and support from friends and family, especially my wonderful wife Gail and 3 dawgs (Budi, Mishti and Rubi) I received, I am now on the road to recovery and feeling very lucky to still be here annoying everyone for many more years to come. Going through this has given me a whole new appreciation for the amazing work the British Heart Foundation does. They fund lifesaving research, support patients and families, and help keep hearts ticking all across the UK. I thought it was only fair to try and give something back (especially now mine has had a full service and MOT). Together with two friends Robin Dijkstra and Dan Preece I will be taking on the London to Brighton bike challenge on the 24th June 2026. If you can spare a few pounds, we would be hugely grateful. Every donation helps support the fight against heart disease and could help save someone else's life in the future.
