Story

As some of you may know, I recently had heart bypass surgery; proving once and for all that even my heart needed a little extra plumbing work! Thanks to the incredible surgeons, nurses, and support from friends and family, especially my wonderful wife Gail and 3 dawgs (Budi, Mishti and Rubi) I received, I am now on the road to recovery and feeling very lucky to still be here annoying everyone for many more years to come. Going through this has given me a whole new appreciation for the amazing work the British Heart Foundation does. They fund lifesaving research, support patients and families, and help keep hearts ticking all across the UK. I thought it was only fair to try and give something back (especially now mine has had a full service and MOT). Together with two friends Robin Dijkstra and Dan Preece I will be taking on the London to Brighton bike challenge on the 24th June 2026. If you can spare a few pounds, we would be hugely grateful. Every donation helps support the fight against heart disease and could help save someone else's life in the future. Thank you for your support and remember to look after your heart preferably before it needs emergency rewiring like mine did!
