Anim-Mates rescues unwanted animals in south east London and north west Kent. It cares for them and finds them new homes. They have a no-kill policy. Any animal that cannot be homed, for care, age or infirmity needs, will be in their Care for Life. Everyone at Anim-Mates is a volunteer.

Story

After years of telling people I am going to start running and talking a good game I have now taken the plunge and with the support of a great charity Anim-mates am completing London’s Run to the beat half marathon on the 25th of September

Anim-mates are an animal sanctuary with a simple message "they will not put down a healthy animal".

Anim-Mates exist to relieve the suffering and distress of animals in need of care and attention, in the South East London and North West Kent, in any or all of the following ways.

§ To rescue, care for, and rehome stray, abandoned and unwanted animals

§ To provide long term foster care for homeless animals

§ To provide veterinary treatment, vaccination and neutering where necessary

Anybody unlucky enough to have seen me play football recently can vouch for how unfit I am! So please bare this in mind when digging deep to support us.
