As you may know, unfortunetly I lost my father back in April last year from a Brain Tumour. As you may also know, my wife Natalie was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer 3 years ago, thankfully she fought it and is back to health.
During both these times, we had to call on the services of Chai Cancer Care, a charity that unfortunately needs no introduction to the services they offer, and how they helped both Nat and Dad, along with the family, during these terrible times.
In the 80’s, Dad used to run the inter Hebrew Sports Day for the children from many shuls. This was held once a year and was a great success.
We have decided to relaunch this in Dad’s name, as a fitting tribute to his life, both as a sportsman, and family man.
We have 8 Primary schools committed to the event in July this year, which is being held in North London.
We are hoping for over 300 participants both as athletes and spectators on the day.
It promises to be a fantastic day out.
So why am I writing this? The money raised for the day is going towards Chai’s School’s project where they visit schools to help train teachers to support children affected by this devastating disease.
We would be eternally grateful if you would be willing to make a donation to this event, to ensure we raise as much money for this very worthwhile cause.
Thank you so much.
