Race the Sun Jurassic Coast Off-Road 2025 · 14 June 2025 ·

Teams of four or two will be setting off at sunrise on this Triathlon-style adventure challenge aiming to finish before the sun sets! Teams will cycle, hike, and canoe with views of the breathtaking Jurassic Coast.

Story

SHADEY and STIG (S.A.S) are the 2 man team taking on Race the Sun Jurassic Coast Off-Road for children's charity Action Medical Research.

In September 2008, we completed the original Race the Sun in the Lake District and raised over £3000 for Action Medical Research - now 17 years older and much less hair we are doing it again (this time dressed as Captain America and Ironman)

In June we will be setting off at sunrise to bike, hike and paddle around a challenging course in a race to complete the course before the sun sets. It consists of biking 20 miles, hiking 9 miles up the Jurassic coast, kayaking 2 miles and biking back to base a further 20 miles.

We are again racing in aid of children's charity, Action Medical Research. They have spent over 70 years funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children, and young people.

By supporting our team you will be helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.

Thank you so much for your support.
