On 30th June I will be pushing my golfing ability and stamina to the limit to play as many holes of golf as I can in the day in aid of a great local cause - a new day care centre for Hoylake Cottage.

I will tee off at first light and play as many holes as I can over the physically demanding Caldy course, walking every step and holing every putt. I will be encouraged on by friends, collegues and a few former players from Liverpool Fc who will each play with me in one of the rounds. I am hoping to complete seven rounds (126 holes for the non golfers). Your support by way of sponsorship per hole or by a fixed amount would be very much appreciated not only by me but also by the many residents of the Wirral who make use of this wonderful facility.
