Royal Parks Half Marathon 2022 · 9 October 2022 ·
The running mums are heading towards another half marathon to raise money for this wonderful charity.
Throughout lockdown, four local West London mums kept each other sane by running together when we couldn't meet any other way.
We still meet and run weekly, sharing each others lives, offering support where we can, laughing a lot and willing each other round a route towards coffee and more chat.
Again, we've decided we should put chatting and running to more good use. The Children's Book Project is a wonderful locally run organisation who are passionate about ensuring all children have access to a range of books to support their curiosity, imagination and learning.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Please support where you can but I completely understand if you cannot. Thanks again for taking the time to read this and I hope we can catch up very soon.
Love Nemone XX
The Children's Book Project gifts pre-loved children's books to children with few books if any, of their own. We take donations from families whose children have grown out of their books, however few books have main characters which represent the full range of children's experiences.Every £200 donated will enable us to source and gift a box of forty representative picture and chapter books to one of our partner schools during the Spring term. We have been fortunate enough to have been given a discount on all books purchased, ensuring that your donation has greatest impact. Each Everyones Story box will contain a variety of handpicked titles that between them, will celebrate the widest range of young peoples experiences. Letterbox Library will curate the contents with input from CLPE and we look forward to sharing the details of selected books on this page. Books are gifted alongside our standard gifting books for schools to share onwards with their pupils.
