Mae cam drin yn y cartref yn medru golygu sawl peth; trais,
camdriniaeth seicolegol, emosiynol ac ariannol. 
Dwi’n awyddus i rannu y bennod hon o’m stori i roi gobaith i eraill.

O ystyried fy mod yn ferch hyderus, annibynnol a llwyddiannus, doeddwn I erioed wedi meddwl y baswn i’n cafod fy hun mewn
sefyllfa o’r fath.  Roedd y teimlad o gywilydd, euogrwydd yn gwneud hi’n rhwydd i mi wadu’r sefyllfa.  Teimlais yn fud a chaeth.

Roedd cael fy nhywys gan yr heddlu i adeilad Cymorth i Ferched
yng  Nghaerdydd yn newid byd i mi.  Cefais gymorth a chefnogaeth anhygoel gan y staff, dwi’n fythol ddiolchgar.

Gan bawb yr hawl i deimlo’n ddiogel a cael eu parchu.  Dwi’n awyddus i ddymchwel muriau sy’n rhwystro pobol rhag siarad, gan gychwyn ym Merlin.

Running a marathon isn’t easy… neither is breaking away from an abusive relationship.

Domestic abuse has many faces, financial, emotional, psychological as well as physical.  I’m sharing my story as a beacon of hope for other survivors.

As an independent, successful, intelligent woman, I never thought it would happen to me.  The denial, shame and guilt I felt prolonged my situation. I felt stifled and stuck.

Being escorted by a police van to Welsh Women’s Aid building in Cardiff was a huge turning point in my life.  The support and
resources the staff offered me were incredible, I am forever grateful.

We all deserve to feel safe and respected in life. 
I want to break down the walls of silos, starting in Berlin.
