2020 has been a difficult year for all but for those senior members of our community experiencing loneliness and isolation, it has been especially difficult. Neston Angels is a small local charity that provides a lifeline by bringing older people together with local volunteers, and by hosting activities such as cinema matinees and luncheon clubs.  Even their weekly check in phone calls to those who live alone can make all the difference.  

As a small charity whose work has become increasingly important during these challenging times, Neston Angels relies on donations.  With many fundraising events not going ahead as planned this year, I thought it would be a good idea to raise some money for Neston Angels by sending Bastian out on a 50k run along the Wirral Circular Trail, with no/very little preparation, apart from his general fitness! Don’t try this at home folks – he’s quite used to going for longer runs. But 50k is still a challenge and we would love it if you could support him in raising money for our chosen charity.
