We all met through local networking events in Warrington and Maeri instigated the idea of combining the two - networking and running at the Warrington ParkRun whilst also creating an accountability group to motivate each other to turn up and complete the run. I am part of this NetRun group and also run local charity Creating Adventures. I personally needed the motivation to run but also wanted to network, develop a network of friends with similar interests and also thought it was a great way to raise the profile of Creating Adventures.

Creating Adventures supports adults with autism and learning disabilities by providing them with activities in the community. During this tough time of Covid and isolation our adults are really struggling with complete lack of stimulation and friends, so as a charity we want to bring this to them in any way we can to help them through it and bring some positivity and enjoyment back into their lives. Zumba is a great way to exercise as it combines dance with a fitness class and will help the adults immensely. We can bring this to them by delivering virtual sessions that can meet their needs, yet at a different pace to many Zumba classes so quite bespoke. 

Thank you to the NetRun ladies and to all donors and supporters for every penny you give. Every little bit means a great deal to us as this time is difficult for everyone and charities are fighting for every penny to stay afloat, yet our services are needed more than ever.
