I'm sure most of you will know loved ones who have been affected by the far reaching impact that Cancer has.
I never met my grandfather on  my dad's side as he passed away shortly before I was born, at a time when diagnosis techniques, treatment, and research were far less developed than they are today. 

Seeing my friend in her teenage years survive Gastric Cancer, and my Aunty survive Breast Cancer show that we are on our way to beating the big C, and now 42% of Cancers are now presentable, but there is so much more that needs to be done:

Cancer Research UK receive no funding from the Government and rely entirely on our donations. 

I am walking 24 miles up and down the Yorkshire Dales with my workplace Premier Foods this Friday which will be an effort, but of course much less painful than enduring Cancer.

Even less of a pain, will be donating to support me :)
