Neville's Warwick in Africa page, South Africa

Warwick in Africa · 21 July 2016
Hi guys:
Firstly thanks so much for visiting my page. Basically I am going to Stellenbosch, South Africa in the summer for six weeks as a volunteer student teacher. All volunteer student teachers including me will undertake trainings to ensure our effort will be delivered at its maximum impact. I will be teaching Maths in front of a group of around 60 students.
That is not something unusual for me, because I always feel I am very privileged. This year, apart from teaching, I intend to raise the importance of education among the students. But most importantly- I need your support!
Your donation will go straight to Warwick in Africa. It will ensure the sustainability of the programme, by enabling the programme to send more high quality volunteers and deliver higher quality of trainings for the teachers at Africa etc in the future.
So do kindly donate- some figures for you to know how much of the impact of your donations:
£10- approximate cost to teach a child for ONE MONTH
And since the launch of the programme, Warwick in Africa has benefited 280,000 learners.
1,900 teachers have benefited from training since 2010.
In 2015, the programme improved 57% average test results for the learners.
Hence your support is crucial for the development of the programme and the education for the African children.
So please!
Thanks so much:)
