West Kent Mind are facing the most momentous challenge in our history. Many local people desperately need to access mental health support and, more than ever, we want to continue to provide our services and help as many people as possible.

Story

West Kent Mind ensures that anyone with a mental health problem in the Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Malling and Tunbridge Wells districts in West Kent has somewhere to turn for advice and support.

It is more important  than ever to raise awareness about mental health.  To check in with our family, friends, colleagues and community to find out how the people around us are really feeling.  Demand has increased by around 40% in the last year  and we know that global events continue to have a huge impact on our mental health and wellbeing.

West Kent Mind understands that managing a mental health problem can be worrying and isolating, so they offer clear and practical support that everyone can access.  Their experienced team offers a range of services from counselling and hands on activities such as gardening and music groups, to specialised support programmes and mental health workshops and training courses for individuals and workplaces, all designed to help put coping strategies into practice for everyday life.

The New Beacon Preparatory School is an independent boys school, located in Sevenoaks, Kent. It admits both day students and boarders aged between 4 and 13. The school also offers a co-educational nursery for children from 3 years of age.  The School is very proud to be supporting such a worthwhile Charity.
