We are a group of firefighters that are going to be completing a 100 mile walk over 4 days. Sounds easy right? Well we have decided that we don't like easy and we are going to make this a challenge. We will carry out the walk wearing our full firefighting PPE including Breathing Apparatus sets, approximately an extra 22kg. We will be sleeping at on-call stations along the 100 mile route through the beautiful Norfolk countryside from September 29th - October 2nd.

Mind is a charity very important to us with their specific Blue Light Programme tailored to give further help to emergency services workers that need support with their mental health. This is something that seems more poignant now than ever. The demand for support is increasing every year and we want to help raise money for out local Mind to be able to deliver the support to our colleagues and members of the public to allow them to help people in need.
