Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

NHEHS are partnering up with The Harrow Club. The Harrow Club has been working to support young people in challenging circumstances for over 135 years. They offer a safe space to spend evenings, a place to learn new things and a place to gain experiences they otherwise wouldn't have. They work with up to 5000 young people each week across 6 clubs, helping them to recognise their full potential.

Our first mission is to help them through their Christmas Appeal 2020 running through the first week of December.

Examples of challenges being taken on:

- Miss O'Connor will run 40km in that week
- Daria Gal (year 9) will learn 350 new Latin words
- Rithi and Harinee (year 10) will write 50 thank you letters each to NHS workers over the course of the week.
- Aanya, Rahel and Aswini (year 8) will record themselves reading a book each over the 7 days to send to a local care home.
- Esha Khakha (year 6) will read 100 pages of a book each day for a week.
Deya Cholia (year 5) will
do 30-40 minutes of piano practice every day until the challenge ends.
Leila Cao (year 5) will aim to shoot 100 goals in my netball post over the week.
Lana Ghandi (year 5) will
do 1,000 kick ups combined throughout the week
Lilia Poustian (year 6) will
draw pictures for the NHS throughout the week.
- Mia Piesse (year 5) will practice the oboe every day of the challenge.
- 7D as a tutor group will be learning words in a new language each day.

Thank you for donating to this very worthy cause and look out for more opportunities to get involved.
