Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I recently lost my dearest friend Andy Brown to Cancer , having played rugby together in the front row on the pitch, we shared many fabulous memories off the pitch as friends over 40 years .

Unfortunately bowel cancer took Andy away from friends and family .

During a day out in Newcastle with close friends I promised Andy that I would raise some money towards his favourite charity ran by our close friend Tony Larkin (music v cancer ) as Tony had suffered and successfully overcomed from this terrible disease. I stupidly suggested doing a Triathlon, not bad for a 50 something bloke who couldn't even swim and was rather ageing gracefully.

Selfishly not expecting Andy to pass away I have now challenged myself to complete the Hartlepool big Lime Triathlon in Andys memory.

Any donations to this wonderful local charity will be be much appreciated.
