Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Why little Princess Trust, well apart from being a Little Princess myself. I suffer from a mild case of Alopecia, luckily for me it is a very mild case and have only really suffered from Hair Loss once or twice in my life. However there are kids out their suffering from far worse conditions and are dealing with full body hair loss and all the insecurities that come along with it.
Little Princess Trust provides real-hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other illnesses.
My own personal goals this year are the following
- Get out of my comfort zone more
- Be Selfless - Give and Help others more
- Achieve something big and memorable for the 2017
I feel achieving the Tough Mudder event on the 16th September and doing it on behalf of the Little Princess Trust definitely ticks all of the above for this year.
Now anybody that truly knows me at all knows that I don't run.....I have always thought I am not built for it and to be perfectly honest the best way to describe it is me running is like a normal person running with a toolbox filled with loose tools banging around. The body trembles, the shins buckle and I get a stitch in 30 seconds!
I have had this planned since the new year and have been training as such since. To be honest I still buckle and fall apart with a stitch. Just I can last for 10 mins now! Progress!
I will be keeping you all up to date with my progress and will be running the event entirely by myself and will be wearing a GoPro to record the journey and all the obstacles I face so you guys can see the outcome.
A Real Hair wig for 1 child costs around 350.00 each. I am aiming to at least change 3 people's lives with my donation target.
Any sort of donation at all, would be appreciated so much! Even if you can't afford the money, any sort of share or raise of awareness would be greatly appreciated.
