Since November 2019 I've been working in Acute Medicine at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and through Above and Beyond I have volunteered to  abseil down the side of the Bristol Children's Hospital on the 25th September.

Above and Beyond's mission is to work with inspirational local people to raise funds to ensure patient care is the best it can be in Bristol city centre hospitals. In Acute Medicine we are aiming to raise funds to buy our own ultrasound machine.

The funds could make a real difference to the patients, their families and staff. Giving us world class facilities will allow 24/7 diagnosis and faster treatments.

The work Above & Beyond do in general is so beneficial to our city centre hospitals and I wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in The Big Bristol Abseil 2020.
