The stunning 13.1-mile route takes in many of the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
Story
I am a children’s cancer nurse, and therefore see the impact leukaemia and other blood cancers has on children and their families. It brings their lives to a halt and changes it forever. I am running for the children I continue to care for but also in memory of my grandad who has recently passed from lymphoma, who I loved very dearly. Leukaemia Care is a national charity dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support. Around 34,000 people are affected by blood cancer each year in the UK and we're here to support them through their diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
