Story

DEAR FRIENDS & FAMILY,

I have been a passionate cyclist since I was a toddler. This exciting event is going to be a difficult challenge, as we will ride 85 miles with a staggering climbing height higher than Ben Nevis (which is the UK's highest mountain).

MY STORY

As a passionate cyclist I decided to undertake this challenge after a cardiac arrest in 2021. This ride will be my return to full health after being ‘dead for 15 minutes.’ In great gratitude to one of my best friend’s Dr Kashif Ali who saved my life, I felt it imperative to make an impact for others. This charity ride will be undertaken with my local cycling members at Mearns Cycling Club in Scotland. At the same time, it is to change the lives and health of the people who take part.

Our cycling team is helping the Al-Khair Foundation team and will be fundraising to support children in Yemen.

YEMEN CHILDREN

The Dunoon Yemen Cycle Ride has been created to raise vital funds for the 2.3 million children under the age of 5 who are currently suffering from acute malnutrition in Yemen. The donations will help teams in Yemen deliver urgently needed food, medicines, and medical supplies. Your donations will help save lives in Yemen. Together we can make an impact.

Thank you so much for visiting my page and for any donation you can make.
