Whilst the dust from the marathon has only just settled, and the medals laying heavily on some tired shoulders, there is no time line the now/more fitting for the amateur runners to ‘take’ the stage and relish in the name of charity. Myself, Fergus and Rupert challenged ourselves to running 150m miles in the month of October and the progress is well underway.
Cancer is something we all know about, a lot of us unable to count on both hands people taken years before their time to enjoy the adventures of life and unfortunately prostate cancer is one of the perpetrators. Prostate cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in England, now whilst this is no doubt progress in diagnosing, it also represents the commonality linked with the disease.
So gents, if you feel your need to tiddle more than usual, strain whilst taking a pee or feeling that that just doesn’t quite feel empty after having a tinckle, pop down and go see a Doc (and ladies check on your man).
I think we all know it’s been a tough year, and a lot of sacrifices small and large made from old to young but any donation of any size would be fantastic and it goes so much further than just the money, this goes towards the battle and together we’ll beat it.. triumphantly and for good.
