Story
So Adam, Nic and Stu are running the Manchester Marathon to raise funds for Forever Manchester!
Yes, you read that right, we're running 26.2 miles. How did this happen?
Back in November 2016, a lubricated crew decided to run the Manchester Half Marathon in October 2017 and raised a staggering £2000+ for our local Scout group. Deciding we were now "runners", we ran the event again in October 2018. But the Marathon???
As we were sat in the pub rehydrating in the aftermath of the last event, we hit on the idea of running the Manchester Marathon to fill the annoying gap on our Garmins. And if we’re running the Manchester Marathon then we decided that we have to do it to raise funds for Greater Manchester.
Those of you that know us will appreciate that we are different sizes and shapes (the Boggis, Bunce and Bean of running for those of you who know your Roald Dahl) so whilst we are doing this together the likelihood is that we won’t be running together (time to feel sorry for little Nic who is likely to be on the course for 5 ½ hours).
So please dig deep and support 2 Mancs and one honorary Manc raise money for Manchester’s best charity, the brilliant Forever Manchester.
And you know what? If you live in South Manchester, the chances are that you won’t be able to get out of the area on Marathon day (April 7th) so why not come along and cheer us on.
