Lupus UK has played a massive role in mine and my family's life as our beautiful Nan lived with Lupus for many years. Our wonderful Nan and Granddad spent much of their time also helping to raise funds and awareness for Lupus and our fantastic role models through their own hard work and fundraising. I am sure Lupus UK have had a meaningful impact for all our family members and I know they were amazing for Nan. 

Nan passed away January 2018 after years of battling Lupus. She was a beautiful, funny, kind and dedicated woman who will be remembered for the amazing woman she was. She is missed beyond words. I know Nan was not a keen runner but she was dedicated to charity. Bouchen and I were meant to be running the Great Wall Half Marathon 2020 but then covid meant the event was cancelled - we are looking for another event we can do to raise the funds!
