Story
Having bottled last years event cause I bust my collarbone in training (see picture), this year I'm determined to complete "The Italian Job", a 900 mile bike ride from Nice in France to Naples in Southern Italy over 9 days in June. I'm cycling the whole way to raise £500 towards an overall target of £10,000 to fund a network of sports outreach volunteers who will deliver sports, activities and essential life-skills in some of the neediest communities in the UK and overseas.
This event follows the successful rides from Lands End to John O'Groats in 2007 and Calais to Nice via the Alps in 2008. For the few that will complete all three events, they will have ridden from the north of Scotland to the south of Italy in 27 days!
Really grateful for any support that you can give me for this challenging event.
