I did a skydive on the 28th September to raise money for the poorest of the poor in war torn Eastern Congo.

Promicrofinance is a brilliant little microfinance organisation in the city of Butembo. They are the only one of their kind and are currently helping 300 business projects get off the ground. By investing another 10,000 dollars (£6,500) we can see hundreds more businesses started. I am personally committed to this having visited this city 4 times in the last 5 years

Many of the women who are using this hand up are women that have been raped in the conflict, and have either been widowed or disowned by their husbands. They are trying to support their families with many different trading activities. I am aiming to raise 10,000 dollars from this skydive and help start another 200 such business. Will you help me?
