Earlier on this year my Grandmother was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. Knowing very little about the disease at the time I felt rather helpless, therefore I decided to do my best to support my Grandmother and others suffering from this disease by running in the Great North Run, in order to fundraise and raise awareness for Bowel Cancer UK and the work that is done by this charity.
