Running and Writing for Rights

London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
In my job as a teacher I often ask my students to eat healthily, exercise and participate positively in society. Over the course of our careers', most teachers will tell many thousands of students to choose causes and charities to stand for and support. However, my first and last fundraising cause was when I ran the London Marathon in 2009. Ten years older and four stone heavier, I thought it was about time that I practice what I preach and make my own commitment for social justice!
Please donate what you can to continue Amnesty's work to protect people wherever justice, freedom, truth and dignity are denied.
Amnesty enables anyone, anywhere, to stand up for humanity and human rights. If you cannot support financially, please help by writing one or more of the 262 messages I have pledged to write for Amnesty campaigns - 10 messages for every mile.
