I want to help FOCSA whose mission is to help to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged children in Colombia. They fulfil their mission by donating medical, educational and other vital equipment to hospitals and specialised institutions that treat these children and improve the quality of their lives. They receive many requests for help from poorly-funded hospitals that assist children in very scarce conditions all over the country. These requests are reviewed by their medical advisors and the help of our Projects committee in London and Bogotá, and we prioritise based on the impact we will have. They not only save the lives of babies and children, but often the mothers' whose lives are in danger. By helping the children, they are also contributing to the welfare of the families.
