Story
As some of you may know, in April I joined 2 other Schroder colleagues in running the Marathon des Sables. The event is a multi-day stage race running/walking/crawling 240km through the Sahara desert over the course of a week.

Sadly my preparations and general disorganisation meant I did not manage to get a sponsorship request out ahead of the event. However, I have been overwhelmed by how many people have asked if they could sponsor me and I didn’t want my charity to miss out on the generosity of these offers, particularly given it’s such a worthy cause….
Foundation Human Nature (FHN) is a grass roots charity working to provide health and development projects in Ecuador, Ghana and Nepal. It was co-founded by an ex Schroder alumnus, Nick Trueman, and operates on a tiny budget doing incredible work with local communities. It is still supported in large part by volunteers and a generous allocation of the founder’s annual holiday allowance. This is a business with almost no overhead, where every pound makes a difference and larger donations can be life changing.
Any money you could spare would be extremely gratefully received by Nick and the team, so please give as generously as you can.
