We spend the long winter months in a constant battle with mud, mud and more mud! We would like to invest in MudControl Slabs to make winter more bearable for our animals, who hate the mud as much as we do!

Story

My name is Nicholas Packwood and I work for a charity organisation called The Farm Animal Sanctuary, a forever home for over 600 rescued farm animals. I'm looking to raise funds which will go towards helping care for each and every animal, big and small, every single day, 365 days a year. Not only that, the money raised will go towards maintaining and improving the upkeep of the farm which will inevitably help improve the quality of life for every animal. To raise funds, I intend to hike for seven days straight over 151 miles from the farm sanctuary located in the West Midlands, through Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Dorset  in order to reach Portland Bill Lighthouse in Weymouth.

About the campaign

We spend the long winter months in a constant battle with mud, mud and more mud! We would like to invest in MudControl Slabs to make winter more bearable for our animals, who hate the mud as much as we do!

About the charity

The sanctuary gives a permanent home to over 550 farm animals rescued from neglect, cruelty, starvation and abandonment. We campaign peacefully to improve conditions for farm animals and conditions in livestock markets. At the Sanctuary farm animals are for life and not for slaughter.
