Every week in the UK, around two families are told their child has neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. We fund leading research projects to deliver new, effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. With your help we can save more young lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In the spirit of Movember, I'm growing myself a fabulous tash, complete with handlebars, in the great Frank Zappa stylee to raise money for the Neuroblastoma Society which funds research into this dreadful childhood cancer which so cruelly took our very loved & doted on niece, Lizzie B.

In January of this year, sweet Lizzie was diagnosed with a rare form of high risk Neuroblastoma & our entire family was devasted when, after 6 months of chemo, she passed away, in her mum & dad's arms, in July, 2013 - 2 days after her second birthday.

Since then, we have learned that research into this disease has taken such ENORMOUS strides - we all take comfort in knowing that, if progress continues, less families & children will have to go through what the Bremers & precious Miss Lizzie B went through.

So, in that vain, my sister in law (Lizzie's mum) has seized the opportunity to raise huge amounts of money through sporting endevours & the whole family follows suit inspired by Alex & Mimi's strength, love & selflessness.

I'm now doing this hairy thing to my face - my wife assures me I look great but I'm not so sure & I'm (quite literally) itching to take it off!

So I ask you to sponsor me which will discourage me from taking my trusted shaving scalpel to my increasingly itchy face - I can't quite emphasise enough how much every penny you can spare will mean to research funds.
