Tough Mudder Classic Yorkshire 2019 · 27 July 2019 to 28 July 2019 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at 44. I’m now pushing 50 and slowing down. My wonderful students, colleagues and friends are a huge help and source of laughs. Two tremendous students, Katie Main Wilson and Sam Wiggins (see photo) decided to raise money by doing the Tough Mudder. Other fab friends have  joined the challenge, whilst others are doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks - all for charity. Please thanks them enormously by donating a £ or so - they deserve the kudos, and we might just move a bit closer to curing this horrible disease too. Aren’t folk ace!
